The Billfish Foundation is the only non-profit organization dedicated solely to conserving and enhancing billfish populations around the world.  Our comprehensive network of members and supporters is made up of anglers, boat captains, tournament directors, clubs and sportfishing businesses.  By coordinating efforts and speaking with one voice, we are able to work for solutions that are good for billfish and not punitive to anglers.

   The fact is over 90% of marlin mortality is the result of bycatch in fisheries outside the U.S.  Yet well-entrenched commercial interests and outdated thinking keep the old perspective of “pounds on the deck” in place.  TBF maintains it is time for a sea change.  We invite you to learn more about our work, to Become a Member if you are not already, and to play your part in ensuring billfish and billfishing for generations to come.
